I absolutely love illustration and wish I was far better at it which is why I was drawn to this particular piece. i enjoy all the different textures and how the trees look almost like they were possibly made from watercolors. I have also always enjoyed the concept of how the world would look if I were to be a giant and everything was so much smaller compared to me.

Found in Bak Magazine.  Bak magazine is an online design kind of magazine that goes with various themes every issue. This theme was called dream and I found this page in particular to be really eye catching. The colors and the specialized text along with how the text layout on the pages is really well put together. I very much suggest this magazine if you ever want to look at something different.

An image by Nick Thomm I found after the homework. I really enjoy the illustrative and photographic elements in the piece. It's definitely not something that people typically do. It kind of made me want to try this kind of thing one day, possibly create a series of them.

Remember Remember the Fifth of November

Found in Smashing Magazine. This was a contest for the month of November and I was immediately attracted to how they used the V in V for Vendetta to make his poem reference in the movie. I enjoy the more grunge type feel to it like most of my other blogs as well. The V is also well integrated by using it to look similar to a clock hand with another reference to the movie.
